At St. Cloud Federal Credit Union, we take pride in our ability to serve the financial needs of all our members.  Our members’ financial well-being is of the utmost importance to us.  How can you become part of our SCFCU Family, you might ask?

As noted in our federal charter, anyone who lives, works, or worships in Stearns, Benton, or Sherburne counties is eligible for membership at St. Cloud Federal.  In addition, immediate family members of our members may also join, regardless of where they live or work.  A spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchild, stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings, and adoptive relationships are all considered “immediate family members”.

F-R-E-E: That Spells FREE!


We at St. Cloud Federal Credit Union strive to continue providing superior service to our members.  To do so, we provide any members who have a personal checking account with free benefits that most financial institutions do not: Fraud Detection and Fraud & ID Theft Recovery Services.

Most companies and organizations offer similar services for purchase.  With our free ID Theft Recovery and Fraud Services, professionals are ready to help, should a problem occur.



With Fraud Detection services you are able to receive an email or text alert (your choice) when certain changes are made to your account.  If no changes occur, you will still receive a brief notification letting you know all is well. Now that’s what we call peace of mind!

Now for ID Theft Recovery, we can help with a number of events that we hope never happen: you lose your checkbook, debit card, credit card, or you misplace your purse or wallet – even fraudulent medical or utility bills, or charges made by someone else using your information.  We sincerely hope this never happens to any of our members, but it can happen, no matter how careful you are. 

With these free benefits, St. Cloud Federal Credit Union has professional advocates ready to work with you, who will take all the necessary steps to recover your good name – no matter how long the process takes.

Hello World

It is the mission of St. Cloud Federal Credit Union to "engage in a relentless effort to provide superior service to our Members." We believe that superior service must include the ability to communicate effectively with our Members. In order to better serve (and communicate with) our Members, we have joined THE SOCIAL MEDIA REVOLUTION.

Your Credit Union will post on Facebook, Tweet, Blog, Pin on Pinterest, Google+, Link with you, allow you to check in on Foursquare and provide YouTube videos. We're going to Yelp and Bing.

We love our members. Now we have more ways to Listen to you and Talk to you. We will post ideas and encourage feedback. We will get critical information to you more quickly. We will establish a relationship with you beyond simply handling your transaction. We will tell our story. We will encourage you to tell your stories.

This week is National Credit Union Week. We're giving away an Apple iPad (Yeah, it's a Facebook Contest... we are so cool... for a Credit Union anyway). We are also providing FREE COOKIES (we love our members) at both locations Thursday and Friday. We wish we could tweet you a cookie but we don't think that's allowed yet. (#Someday?)
